Musician Mind-Reading

The Ligeti Quartet aimed to introduce a wider audience to the complex music of György Ligeti and engage the average music listener. While Ligeti’s music is an acquired taste due to its complexity, everyone can appreciate the emotions behind it. We used technology to bring these emotions to life, translating the musicians’ brain patterns into a unique audiovisual experience.
